TECH SUPPORT |
The most necessary evil of all times! If your HSIA does not have expert tech support you will alienate both guests and staff. Today, the worst possible thing you can do to a guest is fail in providing their access to the Internet. Our call center is located in Dallas Texas and is staffed with live Dallasite technicians 24 x 7. You and your guests dial an extension to reach the always on help at Get Connected. We answer every call and work with each guest as long as it takes to resolve the issue. In addition, we operate your HSIA system and monitor it's every aspect. We usually diagnose issues before you realize an issue exists. You can Request a Quote Here! |

Ethernet![]() |
Ethernet is a wired solution and requires Category 5 wiring to each guest room and Internet access point. Hotels over two years old usually have Category 3 or less wiring and the cost to re-wire the building is usually prohibitive. For our new construction projects, such as Siena Suites in Las Vegas we install one Cat-5 cable to each guest room and provision both the PBX voice and Internet data over the Cat-5 for a substantial price savings. Subject to wiring, Ethernet is the most economical solution because there are no media converters required, less tech support is required, and almost every Laptop is equipped for Ethernet. For new construction Ethernet is the best choice. Providers, including Frontier / Get Connected are developing ways to provide VOIP (Voice & Video Over IP) to the guest room which would result in a single system for both PBX, Video, and Internet functionality. |

DSL |
For Hotels without CAT-5 wiring, the next best solution is DSL. The Internet data is transmitted over the Hotel's existing PBX / phone wiring and is transparent to the telephone system when properly installed. Our new Bitstorm HP Dslam delivers up to 100meg up and down to each guest room. For hotels such as the Adam's Mark Dallas we install our Paradyne DSL Solution. A Paradyne DSL modem is installed in each guest room and Paradyne DSLAM's or DSL gateways are installed in the Telecom closets where the Internet signal is bridged onto the phone wiring. DSL provides a higher level of security as our Dslams are designed for the Hospitality environment. Our modems are installed in a way to make them tamper proof from the guest. |

WIRELESS |
Wireless is the most economical solution. Wireless access points are installed throughout the hotel and guests must have wireless capability on their laptop. The hotel can provide wireless PC Cards for sale or wireless bridges for loan to guests who do not have wireless capability. However, the liability grows when the hotel sells "PC" equipment. Our wireless bridges use the guest's Ethernet port and do not require any modification to the the PC. Our wireless solution integrates industry leading Wireless Access Points into our HSIA system. A common problem with the wireless solution is obtaining total coverage. There is no way to ensure a proposed system will in-fact provide Internet in every area of the hotel until after it is installed. HSIA vendors are tempted to "low bid" the system with inferior equipment and coverage leaving the Hotel in a position where they must install upgrades and additions. For wireless systems, the low bid may not be the best deal for the Hotel. Our systems are guaranteed to provide 100% coverage! |

WIRED/WIRELESS![]() |
Our Paradyne DSL Wired/Wireless solution provides the best of both worlds. Our DSL WiFi modem provides Ethernet in the guest room where it is installed plus Wireless coverage in the surrounding 4 to 8 guest rooms. Since less equipment is required, the initial and ongoing costs are less. Guests with security issues or without wireless adapters use the "wired" rooms, while others enjoy the wireless coverage. Our DSL WiFi modem utilizes special firmware to provide increased security. |

Total control of a guest HSIA system must be maintained at all times. Otherwise viruses, worms, Trojans, and DOS attacks will bring down the system and kill your guest's PC. WITHOUT CONTROL THE SYSTEM WILL NOT WORK The heartbeat of our HSIA system includes the Nomadix Service Engine. NSE is our entry point to maintaining control over the system. In addition NSE provides our billing Interfaces which include PMS integration, so guests can charge access to their folio and the Credit Card interface for visitors and guests without deposit. |
